Privacy Policy
Effective October 27, 2026
Hometown Senior Living Navigators LLC ("we," "us," or "our") helps families find senior living communities. We know the information you share with us is personal, and often about someone you love. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to hometownseniornavigators.com and to the calls, texts, and emails that follow from it.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our form, call, or email us, you may share:
- Your name, phone number, email address, and how you prefer to be contacted
- Your relationship to the person who needs care
- Your loved one's first name, age, and current living situation
- Care and medical needs, such as oxygen use, mobility equipment, memory care, medications, or recent hospital stays
- Preferred location, timeline, and budget
- Anything else you choose to tell us
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. We use only the cookies needed for the site to work. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.
How we use your information
- To contact you, usually within 24 hours, about your request
- To understand your loved one's needs and recommend communities that fit
- To schedule tours and help with the move-in process
- To follow up on how things are going after a move
- To run and improve our service, and to meet legal obligations
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
- Senior living communities. To find the right fit, we share relevant details, such as care needs, timeline, and budget, with communities we think may be a good match. We talk with you about this first, and you can ask us not to contact a particular community.
- Service providers. We use trusted companies to host our website and database, store files, and send email. They may use your information only to provide those services to us.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of a person or the rights of our company.
- Business changes. If our company is sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner under this same policy.
Health and care information
We are not a healthcare provider, and our service is not medical advice. We ask about health and care needs only so we can match your loved one with a community that can safely meet them. We treat this information as confidential, limit access to our placement team, and share it with communities only as described above.
Calls, texts, and emails
When you submit our form, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text message, and email about your request. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text, asking us on a call, or emailing us. Opting out of marketing does not stop messages about a placement already in progress unless you ask us to stop those too.
How we protect your information
Your information is stored with a secure cloud provider, encrypted in transit, and available only to authorized members of our team who need it to help you. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we are helping your family and for a reasonable period afterward for our records, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we have, correct it, or delete it. Email us at hometownseniorliving@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Children
Our website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here and change the effective date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
